Why this shoe? Amsterdam boot offers open-toe design, adjustable shaft, rocker sole, EVA insole, and optional forefoot cap which provides comfort, stability, wound access, and post-surgical support for forefoot conditions.

Key features:

  • Open toe design provides an open toe area with a strap for easy access and ventilation.
  • Optional protective forefoot cap can be attached to keep the foot dry and warm.
  • Practical hook-and-loop fastener at the heel allows customisation of shaft width for comfort and fit.
  • Can be worn on either left or right foot.
  • 30 mm thick rigid rocker bottom sole with an even top side for stability and controlled gait.
  • The bandage shoe AMSTERDAM is symmetric and can be worn on the left as well as on the right. AMSTERDAM is also available in a KIDS version.
  • Comes with a 10 mm EVA insole for basic cushioning and comfort.
  • Functions as a height compensation shoe for relief shoes like London and Mailand.

Benefits:

  • Helps protect and stabilise the foot after surgery or injury, reducing strain during recovery.
  • Adjustable shaft and optional forefoot cap ensure a personalised fit and protection against cold or moisture.
  • The rocker sole promotes smoother walking and reduces pressure on the forefoot.
  • Open toe design allows inspection and dressing changes without removing the shoe completely.

Indications/Conditions:

  • Swelling in the foot area
  • Post-operative corrective osteotomies

Care Instructions:

  • Wipe the boot with a damp cloth or soft brush for regular cleaning.
