Why this brace? The Comfort Cool® Thumb CMC Restriction Splint supports the thumb CMC joint, relieves arthritis pain, maintains hand function, and offers breathable, customizable, all-day comfort.

Key features:

  • The contoured neoprene strap wraps around the thumb CMC joint and first metacarpal for direct joint support. 
  • Perforated neoprene material is thin (1/16") and breathable, with a terry cloth liner to keep skin cool and comfortable during wear.
  • Reinforced stitching allows the splint to be trimmed the below the thumb MP joint for a customised fit. 
  • Designed to restrict thumb movement while allowing full use of the fingers for daily tasks. 
  • The optional thermoplastic insert can be molded for customised support to the thenar eminence crease.
